Brand design for a queer, WOC wedding photographer and filmmaker
Kimu Kima is a small business that sells apparel, accessories, and other “happy, unnecessary” trinkets. Kimu Kima is a Thai phrase that means “useless items,” literally translating to “doggy poop, piggy poop.” Drawing from that irreverent phrase, I developed a brand system inspired Thai patterns and symbols with my client Mint’s guidance.

BRAND IDENTITY
The logo references the beautiful natural backgrounds of her wedding and engagement shoots, and also evokes a camera shutter and a subtle nod to an infinity symbol. I also had fun incorporating her tagline, "Adventure is out there" in a secondary brandmark!
